Three common paths
Meet someone on Discover, answer or post a Brief, or book or list Craft. Then move into a Session.
You do not need a public auction or a giant thread of DMs. The Session holds the work, the people, and the paper trail.
Do I need a Brief?
No. You can find someone on Discover and open a Session directly. Briefs help when you have a clear need. Craft helps when you offer a skill.
