What is a Session?

Private collab workspace for files, lyrics, notes, and roles.

What lives in a Session

A Session is a private collaboration workspace for one song or body of work.

Invited people share demos, file versions, lyrics, notes, and role assignments in one place.

How to use it

Typical flow:

  1. Create a Session from Hives (recommended) or start one directly.
  2. Invite collaborators.
  3. Upload audio, drop lyrics, and keep notes next to the work.
  4. Assign roles (for example vocalist, producer, writer, engineer).
  5. Lock roles when the contribution is finished so Verified Credits write to profiles.

Session vs Hive

Hive = group / project home. Members, goals, updates, and the list of Sessions you manage there.

Session = the room where you actually collab (files, lyrics, notes, roles, credit locks).

Both are live. Most teams create a Hive, then open Sessions under it.
